The 2019 Open Enrollment Period runs from November 1, 2018 to December 15, 2018

Plans sold during Open Enrollment start January 1, 2019

You can enroll in Medicaid/CHIP any time of year – there is no limited enrollment period for Medicaid or CHIP.  If you qualify, coverage can begin immediately.

To be eligible to enroll in health coverage through the Marketplace, you:
Must live in the United States
Must be a U.S. citizen or national (or be lawfully present)
Can not be incarcerated

If you have Medicare coverage, you are NOT eligible to use the Marketplace to buy a health or dental plan.

ACA Reporting Workbook – Now Available

Financial Life Cycles, Inc. (FLC) Offers Reporting Workbook

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) now requires applicable larege employers (ALEs) to gather and report medical insurance information for each employee.  Employers are searching for tools and resources to assist.

FLC now has a resource available to assist employers in recording the information required to be reported.  This tool can be used to record the information that will be needed to satisfy new reporting requirements under Internal Revenue Code Section 6056.
